A Break From Blogging, Posting, And All Things Social Media

Despite my break from blogging, posting, and all things social media, I've been keeping busy with new design projects. I was fortunate enough to work with Clif Bar to create a poster promoting the use of alternative transportation to Shaun White's Air+Style. Clif Bar partnered up with LA Bike Coalition and Solé Bicycles to give concert goers the opportunity to win a Solé Bicycle with proof of a bike valet ticket or their LA Metro TAP card. This design came about quite easily and quickly due to the fact that I was given no restrictions. Originally the background was a blue green gradient, but I felt it needed more of an overall urban feel. I also thought there needed to be more separation between the sky and the ground to emphasize the horizon line. With this in mind I added the concrete texture to the bottom half. I really had fun with this design as I included a lot of little touches such as the sharrow, the snowflakes, and adding the concrete texture into the cyclist's and snowboarder's jacket.
