Begrudgingly Obliged, Consequently Much Improved

I've been hard at work creating a T-shirt design which will be worn during the weekend of the Whiskey Off Road event in Prescott, Arizona. The first draft was considered to be too complex. As it was, I was obliged to accommodate the request. I will admit I originally made the changes begrudgingly since I was feeling that the design was already as good as it could possibly get. None the less, I eliminated the rays in the background, reduced the colors down to two, and changed the type face to something less wispy. I found that this has proven to be a practice in restraint as I was originally given clearance to have three colors in the design. I chose the third color to be the red from the Clif logo, thus making it stand out further and making the rest more visually bold. Consequently I do feel I came up with a much improved design.

1st Draft

2nd Draft
