DJ Sophie Harris

Here's a new logo design for DJ, Sophie Harris. Originally I started with an arrow through the logo, but in the end the arrow didn't have any meaning behind it. I also wanted to explore different options for the letter "H." Ultimately, I added a counter weight, arm, and head shell onto the "O" in Sophie. This was a subtle yet clear indicator of what the client's profession was. I found the logo to be more symmetrical and aesthetically pleasing once I removed the "H" in the middle of the logo.
